The backbone of the program is a world-class internship experience. For six weeks students work from Mon-Thursday at leading institutions and firms. Some internships offer the option of extending the work for several weeks after the Lakewood Fellowship Program concludes.
LAKEWOOD FELLOWSHIP INTRO:
The program opens with a four-day condensed version of the acclaimed Lakewood Fellowship Program featuring an intro to: Beth Medrash Govoha, the legendary Lakewood hospitality and Shabbaton as well as fellow Interns.
The power of the program is the seven amazing Shabbatonim which run from Thursday night through Sunday afternoon. Shabbatonim are in Lakewood with a few in the Catskill Mountains, Far Rockaway or Monsey, NY. Interns have the option of taking one Shabbaton off.
Interns will be housed at the Student Residence Hall in the brand new state-of-the-art Torah Links Center located in the heart of the Lakewood community. Transportation to NYC will be provided for NYC Interns who commute. NYC Interns are free to make their own sleeping arrangements during the work-week as long they participate fully in all activities and programs.
A core component of the program is the access Interns have to high-level industry leaders highlighted by weekly private dinner meetings where Interns have the ability to meet and learn from the pros.
